Hotellerie Saint Yves - Chartres

Peaceful affordable hotel, magnificent views, incredible location on an old maze. Location close to town centre / cathedral. Again, not far from a medieval Roman Rite Catholic cathedral. Nice service, very good breakfast.

The place was reasonably priced. Appreciated this well priced hotel, easy to find, with VERY VERY HELPFUL staff in assisting with questions.

Had a blast with friends! The location next to the cathedral is unbeatable. We enjoyed hiking nearby trails and even squeezed in some biking. The breakfast was solid, and the room was cozy enough for our stay. Just a heads up, some rooms might feel a bit basic, but they're comfy and clean. Worth it for the price!

I faced some trouble with noise from the street, especially at night. It made sleeping a bit tough, but it's part of being in such a lively area.

Request a room with a view overlooking the cathedral for a nice experience.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the cathedral! I appreciated the warm and cozy single room, with a brand new bathroom that felt fresh.

The staff really stood out, especially that young man at reception who made sure I had my room when my car broke down. He was supportive and friendly, really helped ease my stress during a tough time.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but the price was still reasonable for the quality.

I stayed for 2 nights and really loved the cozy atmosphere and comfortable bed. During my downtime, I enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden and on the sun terrace. Only wish there had been a comfy chair in the room, but that's just a small thing 😊

Chartres is a real gem! The location is just a hop away from the magnificent cathedral, and I found some fab local bites-like the comforting fare at Cafe Bleu and the charming vibe at Esprit Gourmand. The room was comfy enough for a solid night's sleep, probably warmed by all the history surrounding it.

On the flip side, the wifi setup was a stinker, limited to certain hours which felt ancient. Plus, the breakfast was a letdown for 12 euros-I've had better on a baguette budget! And let's not forget the not-so-cheery receptionist. A smile goes a long way.

The view from our room overlooked the cathedral labyrinth, very nice. Make sure to check out the cozy little outdoor sitting area during your stay.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and also took care of parking for us.
